Description: A family-friendly park with both fast slides for those above the age of six and gentler slides for the younger ones. Description: Located on the fantastic Obidos Lagoon, the Obidos Lagoon sailing school is a relaxed and laid back environment for the whole family. Lessons are available for a wide variety of water sports including sailing, kite surfing, windsurfing and stand up paddle boarding. There is a lovely lawned area for relaxing and a lovely restaurant bar. The water is shallow and calm and perfect for all ages. For those that do not need lessons, they have equipment available to rent.

At Baleal Surf School you’ll find an infrastructure and staff prepared to deliver a memorable experience with your children. You can sit and watch the children surfing from the panoramic veranda while enjoying a coffee or fresh juice.

Description: It is an outdoor museum, in an area of 10 hectares, including 4 tracks corresponding to some of the most important epochs in the history of the Earth: the end of the Paleozoic, the Triassic, the Jurassic, and the Cretaceous. Walk around the impressive establishment and marvel at the life-size models of these incredible creatures. There is also a restaurant on site.

Description: The caves of Gruta da Moeda is located in S. Mamede, in the municipality of Batalha, only 2 km away from Faatima. The caves can be visited to an extent of 350 meters, and they are 45 meters deep beneath the entrance height. The temperature inside the caves is around 18º C all year round. A visit to the caves also includes the Environmental Interpretation Centre, where visitors can learn about the geology of the region and of Portugal as a whole, featuring a marvelous exhibit of Jurassic fossils and minerals, scientific videos, and geological maps.
